Kelley Taylor’s Favorite Quotes

I am a lover of quotes.  I collect them like people collect coins, stamps, or precious pieces of art.  See, quotes are my jewels, my art collection, my treasures.  And they are just as priceless.  I scour ads, books, magazines, signs, bumper stickers, t-shirts, web sites, and more to find just the right one for just the right situation.  Often, my quotes find me.

Such few words can change a heart, a mind, a destiny.  How can they do that?  And yet they do.

I try to write them down as quickly as I can in my little 3×5 card file that I carry with me (along with my bookography) but, as you can imagine, my file fills up quickly.

So, I thought this was a way I could back-up my handwritten files electronically for cross-reference.  I am such a nerd!

But sometimes, when words can fill your soul so completely in a time of need – to finish a speech, to begin an article, to flesh out just what it is you’re trying to say, to cheer yourself up, to make you keep going on – I believe you can never be too organized.

To quote a great book,    “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:21)
